Disabling selection of Text

You need to paste the codes before </body>

<script language=JavaScript><!—
//Disable right click script III- By Renigade (renigade@mediaone.net)//For full source code, visit http://www.dynamicdrive.com
var message=”“;///////////////////////////////////function clickIE() {if (document.all) {(message);return false;}}function clickNS(e) {if (document.layers||(document.getElementById&&!document.all)) {if (e.which==2||e.which==3) {(message);return false;}}}if (document.layers) {document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN);document.onmousedown=clickNS;}else{document.onmouseup=clickNS;document.oncontextmenu=clickIE;}

Tumblr with Infinite Scrolling Pages.

Paste the following line of jscript code into your description box to make your blog endless scroll.  It doesn’t matter if the description already has text or anything else, since this script won’t show up.  Your description box is located in Customize »> Info.

<script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://proto.jp/js/tumblrAutoPager.js”></script>

NOTE: It is very important that, after you paste the code you retype all the quotation marks, there are a total of 4.  Otherwise the endless scrolling page won’t work, and I found out this is the only reason many people complain that this code is useless when it’s not.  Somehow the quotation marks get pasted in italics or backwards.

Stopping & Starting HTML Marquees

Clicking the Marquee

This example allows the user to slow down the marquee when they click on it using their mouse. The marquee then returns to the regular speed when the user releases the mouse.

<!— HTML codes by Quackit.com —>

<marquee behavior=”scroll” direction=”left” scrollamount=”12” onmousedown=”this.setAttribute(‘scrollamount’, 3, 0);” onmouseup=”this.setAttribute(‘scrollamount’, 12, 0);”>Go on… click me (and hold the mouse down)!</marquee>

Hover Over the Marquee

This example allows the user to slow the marquee down when they hover over it (i.e. onmouseover). The marquee then continues when the user moves the cursor away from the marquee (i.e. onmouseout).

Using this example, the user doesn’t need to click the mouse - they simply hover the cursor over the marquee.

<!— HTML codes by Quackit.com —>

<marquee behavior=”scroll” direction=”left” onmouseover=”this.stop();” onmouseout=”this.start();”>Go on… hover over me!</marquee>

Image Bubbles Effect

Simply add the below code inside the <HEAD> section of the page:

<script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js”></script>

<link href=”imgbubbles.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” />

<style type=”text/css”>

/*CSS for 2 demos on the page*/

#orbs li{

width: 65px; /*width of image container. Should be wider than contained images (before bubbling) */

height:60px; /*height of image container. Should be taller than contained images (before bubbling) */

}

#orbs li img{

width: 55px; /*width of each image before bubbling*/

height: 60px; /*height of each image*/

}

#squares li{

width: 45px; /*width of image container. Must be wider than contained images (before bubbling) */

height:40px; /*height of image container. Must be taller than contained images (before bubbling) */

}

#squares li img{

width: 31px; /*width of each image before bubbling*/

height: 31px; /*height of each image*/

}

</style>

<script type=”text/javascript” src=”imgbubbles.js”>

/***********************************************

* Image Bubbles effect- (c) Dynamic Drive DHTML code library (www.dynamicdrive.com)

* This notice MUST stay intact for legal use

* Visit Dynamic Drive at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ for this script and 100s more

***********************************************/

</script>

<script type=”text/javascript”>

jQuery(document).ready(function($){

$(‘ul#orbs’).imgbubbles({factor:1.75}) //add bubbles effect to UL id=”orbs”

$(‘ul#squares’).imgbubbles({factor:2.5}) //add bubbles effect to UL id=”squares”

})

</script>

The above code references two external files which you should download below (right click, and select “Save As”):

Then, to apply enable the magnify effect on an image just insert a CSS class of “magnify" inside it, for example:

 <h4>1.75x magnification</h4>

<ul id=”orbs” class=”bubblewrap”>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”orbs/stumbleupon.png” alt=”Add to Stumbleupon” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”orbs/facebook.png” alt=”Add to Facebook” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”orbs/digg.png” alt=”Add to Digg” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”orbs/twitter.png” alt=”Add to Twitter” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”orbs/rss.png” alt=”Add RSS Feed” /></a></li>

</ul>

<h4>2.5x magnification</h4>

<ul id=”squares” class=”bubblewrap”>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”squares/facebook.png” alt=”Add to Facebook” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”squares/delicious.png” alt=”Add to Delicious” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”squares/digg.png” alt=”Add to Digg” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”squares/stumbleupon.png” alt=”Add to Stumbleupon” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”squares/rss.png” alt=”Add RSS Feed” /></a></li>

<li><a href=”http://dynamicdrive.com”><img src=”squares/twitter.png” alt=”Add to Twitter” /></a></li>

</ul>

The sample HTML markup references some icons images, which you can download here for ease of testing out the script. Unzip the file into the same directory as where the script page resides. FYI the entirely sets of lovely icons used in the demo are Blue Orbs social Icons and webtoolkit4me social icons which you can download.

And that’s it for installation.
